Simple and a Blast
Easily one of the best deck builders for mobile out there. Even just the portrait format makes it different compared to a lot of other ones. A huge card pool, combined with interesting mechanics and a decent range of characters and build options has me coming back day after day to play this. Very polished too, haven’t had any bugs at all so far.
Took a g thing, made it boring
When I approached this game I thought it overly complex for a starting player, but the best games are. I learnt a lot of base rules mixed with RNG, mixed with level building that required player thought, that also mixed in respect to the player building their own deck that they enjoyed playing. Synchronised perfectly. I lost because I didn’t play right for the stage and my character of choice was not built right.
I’m leaving because homogenising the new leveling system degrades the game for me, there are redeeming factors to a ‘mobile game’ done properly.
I do understand I’m probably in the minority but I will miss my daily challenge of using a character type I wouldn’t normally and learning their mechanics, it’s the show of a good dev when players do that and don’t bale out immediately. So good work!!!, waiting for the sequel without similar end game currency ideals.
Fear of appealing to all is where we all fall on our face.

Truly fantastic and engaging
Worth your time, and amazing that its free! I’d have happily spent $10 or more with the fun I’ve got out of this. Bought the DLC too which is worth it as well
