Diarium: Journal, Diary 4+

This app has everything I could wish for in a diary/journaling app, even functionalities I didn’t know I needed. I tried out many diary apps to find one that suits my needs best, and they were either very limited, requiring you to have a subscription, or not quite right for me. I was immediately sold when I found Diarium and its many functionalities. Its only weakness is that it won’t sync up with other different devices unless you buy the pro version in those devices separately.

Edit: my iPhone and Mac use the same App Store account but they still require the pro version to be bought separately, which is unfortunate

A single pro version can be used on multiple devices as long as they are using the same App Store account. The pro version is linked to the App Store account that it is bought with :)

I have tried nearly every diary App in the store. I wanted to start a journal. In my opinion this was the Best one. Not overly bloated and it actually does sync without dramas across devices. Its clear, clean and has a lot of options. I'm even tracking the moon phases as a point of interest. This App is actually saving my mental health! Purely through the fact that I can get my thoughts out of my head. I use it on my phone through the day, then handwrite with my tablet at night just to get the 'writing' benefit. Can not recomend this any higher than 5 stars or I would. Thank you to the Dev. This is really helping me 😊

I have tried various diary / journal apps over the years. For me, some of the more simple ones lack the ability to add photos or other add ons such as location , weather etc. Whereas others are too complex for my likes and capabilities ( I am well past 80 yo, so this technology is all a bit daunting as well as amazing)
Diarium seems to have made available all that I wish to be able to do, in a very user friendly / intuitive format.
The more I use it , the more I appreciate it. I recommend you give it a try !
