Motivates me to journal

I love how this simple app motivates me to journal. The cream coloured background and friendly elegant font is just luscious! A couple of improvements I’d like to suggest are the ability to display the entries differently. I find it a little awkward to scroll through a long stream of journal entries. It makes me feel bad when I miss days too. Maybe introducing a grid view etc. would be better than having only one way to view/organise the entries (ie. in a long stream), I would even pay premium for that. Also, having the ability to organise the entries via tags so that if I want to find entries on a certain theme I can easily find that via the tag function. Other than that, I LOVE this app. Thank you!

A simple app. Reasonable.

Looking to journal. Wanted a basic app. So subscriptions. No ads. No frills. This ap is that, I purchased the full app essentially, it seems for night mode. The following improvements for at least paid users would be good: - adjust the formatting so that no text Showed when scrolling through journal entries. I don’t wish to see the sentence. - 12 hour time option (I was contacted by the developer and advised that this is an option. I appreciate this correspondence and attention to detail) a way to rate the day, by colour or number. Eg green is a great day, orange is okay and red is bad. Would be useful to track and overall theme. Overall this app is basic and that is what I was after. There are a couple slightly clunky spots, like requesting a review of the app kept coming up - it did prompt this review but it was also very repetitive. I appreciate the app and would love to see a widget so that I may quickly add the days entry.

Please click the time button at the top of the app setting page to change the time format 12 hour/24 hour.

Problem with dates

I like the simplicity of this app. The problem is recently all entries in the app have regressed by one day right back to when I started making entries. So all entries are showing one day earlier than the dates they happened. I thought I must have put in a couple of entries wrong but then found every single one was out by a day. I am not sure if this happened when I recently upgraded to the paid version or with a recent update. All the same, it basically renders the app unusable if you want to keep accurate records. I would love to give 5 stars, but until this issue is resolved can only give it one.

In response to the developers comments, the date and time settings are correct. I am not sure if the issue started when I upgraded to the paid version. All I know is that for no apparent reason all entries from the very first entry now show a day earlier than when they were entered. I would love to change my review to a positive one if a resolution can be found to this problem.

This app make the clock (and calendar) synchronize with the system time (and time-zone). An unexpected display may occur if your system clock or time zone settings are set incorrectly/accidentally changed on the iPhone/iPad. Please change the time on your phone. (Settings > General > Date&Time > Time, Settings > General > Date&Time > Time Zone)

If you've accidentally changed the Time Zone Setting / If the "Set Automatically" is switched on, your Time Zone Setting on the phone may be automatically changed (according to the system position and some algorithm. Automatic time zone accuracy is improved when Location Services is turned on). Date display in different time zones is different. You could chang the Time Zone Setting back. ([Settings > General > Date&Time > Time Zone])
