Very poor
I'm not sure why people are complaining about it only recording 30 seconds. It says quite clearly that the free app has this restriction. Anyway, I wanted to try before buying but the recordings are clipped. Sentences run into each other possibly due to the voice activation but making some things incomprehensible. The controls are simple but the app itself is not very intuitive. I should have realised when the marketing copy was saying how much better it is than using a dictaphone with tapes. Seriously, do people still use those? No way I would spend money on this.
No warning!
Easy to use dictaphone, but I did not appreciate that it would only record for 30 seconds with no warning that recording had stopped. I did a very long letter (5 mins long) only to find at the end that only 29 seconds had saved! Pretty angry and total waste of the 30 mins preparing the letter.
Simple but effective
Was looking for a simple dictaphone app which could upload to laptop or email- this does the trick and the insert function is essential. Nice, simple interface Great app (as a trial, because the time of recording is too limited) and I will buy the full version
