Great app

This app is easy to use. Great for university students. It allows me to create as many files and sub files as I need and import all my documents into it. I can highlight, underline, write notes on the documents.

Recently it has been glitching slightly. Sometimes, when I import a document into the app it is I. The recent documents but you can’t find the location of it and have to reimport it in order to relocate it. Also I wish you could change the style of writhing (bold, italic etc) with in the a single textbox. But it only lets your write that whole text box in one style. This is slightly annoying when adding the references to my documents as I need to add another text box, space out the original text box and over lap the new text to make sure the italic sections sit where they need to be

If you scroll all the way to bottom, go landscape mode and go back to vertical it will automatically scroll to the top. Not handy.
This issue was found in current version as date above on ios 17.2.1 iphone 15 pro max.

1: Video need to be able to stretch to fit the screen. 2: I have manga in a folder and I also need stretch image to fit the screen. 3: Also I need to shut down the function to tap right or left to move to next or previous image please. So annoying when I want to zoom image by double tap but it just move to another image instead. 4: App is so useless. Talk about updates keep saying we improve your experience when using the app to make it much better for you. For ME! Really. Well, you haven’t done a single thing to improve my experience in using this app. I’m not gonna bother updating if you don’t mention specifics fixed or features. 5: i’m not gonna bother email to your development. They just all talk but no action. Email said thanks for suggestion. We’ll do it soon. Well it’s been forever. You either be serious and improve the app as I said above to improve the experience or you can just be quiet. Don’t bother tell me to send any more email to the said email. PS!

Great app, really helpful developers

Update 1 May 2024:
Received response from developer regarding the issue mentioned in my previous review , and when I checked the settings in the app today the iOS Data Protection was already turned off and I tested the current version of the app by playing a long playlist and it worked perfectly. Thanks! Documents is really the best file management app I ever used on the iPad!

On my iPad Pro, the app will crash after playing music in the background for a few minutes. Apple files doesn’t have this issue, but certainly Documents is more user friendly and I expect it to be a good all-purpose app that is capable of playing my flac files
