What starts out as a relaxing commute in a small town of the 1970's quickly devolves into traffic chaos with hot dog trucks, sports cars, school buses and dozens of other vehicles. In this small town, discover the characters and their secrets – what world-changing experiment is inventive dentist Dr Charles Schneider hiding? Will Mr Baker quit his job in advertising? From the makers of Smash Hit comes this frantic, funny, Apple Design Award–winning mashup of strategy and path management. The premise is simple: drive from point A to point B, then restart with a new driver while avoiding a collision with the car you just drove. Each ride gives a short insight into the person behind the wheel, and the characters’ drama and entanglements play out like a darkly hysterical soap opera.
View of all turns
After time runs out, instead of being asked to only “play again” or “go to the main menu” there should be a third option to freely view the whole thing. For example, after pressing the option to rewatch all the turns made, you are able to swipe right and left on the map to see all the cars that you controlled play out while you just watch. After the turns are done they repeat again and again until the player is satisfied with watching and then either “play again” or “go to the main menu”. I know me and my cousin would love that very much. Only mentioning this because I was expecting it but I love the game so far. An easy five stars if this was implemented.
Clever and fun
This game is the perfect roll in one for both fun gameplay and witty humour. The little text lines regarding each character and how they all ended up having connected storyline’s was both funny and enjoyable to follow along with. For those who just want gameplay there is certainly a level of quick thinking and strategy involved which can be very satisfying to get the hang of. Would definitely recommend.
