Description
The #1 Draughts app for iOS just got better. Play against your Game Center friends or random opponents using our new turn-based multiplayer feature!
Draughts Free supports both 1 player and 2 player gameplay, so you can play against friends or test your skills against a challenging computer opponent.
Our new turn-based network play feature allows you to play up to 16 simultaneous network games against your Game Center friends or random network opponents over Wi-Fi or 3G.
Draughts Free includes a host of exciting features, including:
* Great graphics and exciting sound effects
* Configurable player names and score tracking
* Outstanding AI engine provided by renowned checkers AI researcher and developer Martin Fierz
* Fully configurable 1 player difficulty level
* Undo function if you accidentally hit the wrong square
* Forced jumps option allows you to choose whether to play with forced captures
* Ability to save your game when you exit the app or receive a phone call
Draughts Free currently plays American Checkers (i.e., no flying kings). In future versions, we will add the ability to use other checkers rule sets.
Draughts Free is supported by unobtrusive banner advertising. Draughts Premium is the same great app without the ads.

Good interface, but crashes often
I used to love this app, but now I just like it. I find the interface good, but it crashes (freezes when I'm winning!) too often and the ads are annoying. I get that free access means ads though...
Good fun but the pop ups are annoying
Great fun but do not like the pop ups at the bottom of the screen as they distract you from the game
Checkers
I like playing with this with my friend Joe Rent it’s a good way to stay in contact and have fun at the same time.
