Thanks a lot for the good review! Indeed that's what we were going for, a proper huge open world driving game for mobile, with a real sense of freedom, legit physics etc. The render distance is 2km (1.24 miles), ideally I would like this to be a bit further I agree, but it was a careful balancing act between visual ambition and performance, to make sure it ran well enough on most devices.
I'm glad you appreciate the physics, months of work went into the core car physics and drifting, to capture the weight/inertia of a real car, and to make the drifting physics as lifelike as possible. I'll be starting the multiplayer development within the next few days, and we'll be adding new cars too. So fingers crossed the multiplayer will be in soon :) Thanks again.
Good but plz do something with the fuel
First, the good points: It can go without internet, very good graphics, fun drifting physics, and decent car selection and customisation. Also, you can tune too many things related to the car and it’s physics. Also it’s free.
Thing is, you’ll find you can’t drive a (upgraded) S15 at high speeds for one minute in freeroam because then your fuel runs out. This is a pain, because there isn’t anything that tells you how much fuel you have left and you have to either watch an ad, buy infinite fuel, or go back to the main menu and then back in open world to get that extra one minute. This quite ruins the open world part of the game, and the only other thing you can do is race, which needs tickets that take ages to load. In other words, you need internet for the hame to be enjoyable.
I understand that you need to make money from games, but at least add a fuel dial so you know you’re going to run out of fuel.
