Imagine if your digital camera stopped and asked you to name each photo after you took it or popped up a file system for you to choose where to save it. This is how most voice recorders work on iOS; always getting in your way.

Ratings and Reviews
Very basic... maybe too basic
As a previous reviewer mentioned, having a pause button would be helpful.
Having some basic editing tools like trim to crop the audio file to a bracketed segment would help the user control file size.
Having the ability to select audio files from voice memos would be useful - like selecting from your photo album when you use Instagram.
I've been using Dropvox for years to record musical ideas, lectures and other incidental audio. It's absolutely essential to my music making process, for taking ideas from instrument to computer. It is exceptionally simple, but that's the beauty of it. No unnecessary features or distractions, just a massive record button and automatic upload as soon as you're done. Perfect!
I use it for songwriting ideas when I'm walking to/from work then when i get home i got it on my mac dropbox folder or on my phone or even the web. Easy to use interface just hit record and stop and you're done better than the voice memo included app as it synchs to drop box not to itunes allowing far more flexibility
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
