I used this app mainly because I wanted to paint the walls in a room; I wanted to see what colours would look good. I went for a nice aqua. It worked pretty good and I guess it was a good visualise but that’s not why I’m complaining. I’m complaining because of the app itself. It’s so annoying when I try to press something and nothing happens. It always glitches and lags. It’s not my device that’s the problem because all my other apps work and don’t glitch, it’s just this app. Please fix this issue.

Frustratingly inadequate

I really thought that Dulux might have actually mastered this by now. Colours available are restricted. I can pick Casper white quarter but not Casper white half or Caspar white. I realise it’s a visualiser and it’s not going to be as sophisticated as a full blown photoshop type program. But really having to select tiny bits of wall and getting different colours for the shadows which are actually lighter than the main bulk of the wall is so frustrating that the app is going to get a deletion. The pixel picker needs to be set to a larger selection, a marquee selection tool could help in confining the colours to certain areas as could maybe an option of posterising the photo so that you can pick a cartoon type illustration. There are lots of ways to achieve this in other apps so it’s not like reinventing the wheel. If you’re going to have a colour search function at least have all the colours on your brochures over the last few years in it. Disappointing effort. F

Clunky app and hard to use

I so wanted this to work and I installed and deleted a couple of times. It’s not very user friendly or accurate and it doesn’t easily apply colour, especially if you also have dado/vj boards etc you want to colour. Colour when applied is patchy and when trying to do the walls it also coloured the ceiling, which I didn’t want. Looks like it’s back to colour swatches then sample pots until the bugs are ironed out.
