ECLIPSE CROSS PHEV Remote Ctrl 4+

It is a struggle to connect and the range is so poor it only works when you’re standing next to the car, you might as well use the display inside…. keeps interfering with the wifi when you actually needed. the app is helpless unfortunately

I am sitting in a room within my house trying to use the app. The car is right outside the room, but the app does not reach!

This app is really bad. Why doesn’t Mitsubishi improve it? It is still on release 1. I am giving the app 2 stars because I like what it is trying to do. It is just very bad at doing it.

It’s also really hard to set up. Took a few hours, even with assistance at the dealership.

I love the Eclipse Cross PHEV. So much, we bought a second vehicle. Do you think the app can cope with 2 vehicles? No! My car needs to be controlled from my the app on my phone and my wife’s car needs to be controlled from hers. Fortunately, the reverse is not also true. I can have the app for my car on both my iPhone and my iPad.

Come on Mitsubishi. Get your act together. There is no excuse for this. The app really needs to work properly so that people can properly control the charging on their electric vehicles to take advantage of off peak tariffs etc. Also, please, please, please get someone who speaks good English to write the words for the app (and for the car manual!)

A truly terrible app. Don’t even bother attempting to set the timer on it or anything else as it will mostly ignore your commands.

You literally have to be next to the car to connect to it. You may as well sit in the car and do what you need to do in the comfort of the seat rather than loitering next to it.

I simply cannot understand how they dropped the ball on this one. I imagine it was lost in translation somewhere between head office in Tokyo and the factory who designed it.
I hope somebody fell on their sword for this lousy effort.
