Calendar syncing

It’s a great idea having everything in one place however, the first thing I did on the app was sync my apple calendar and it synced ALL my apple calendars even the deselected ones (e.g. exchange, gmail, etc) so now It displays some past repeat events as current. Also noticed that where I have repeat events, when I click on the event on the app, it shows the date of the first event and not the actual date of the event. I will give it a go but will not use the calendar until this issue has been resolved.

Mshungryhippo! Sorry that you had a less than awesome experience with syncing your calendar to Eggy.

You're right though. At the moment, the calendar sync brings in all your sub-calendars from your synced calendar. This is because when we first released the calendar sync, we had users asking for all their calendars to be brought in. Can't win 'em all hey?! ;)

We've got it on our roadmaps to make this a better experience where you'll hopefully be able to select either option - just to sync the primary calendar or sync the primary calendar and the sub-calendars.

Like lots of things at Eggy (including us!) it's a work-in-progress.

I hope you at least get enough value out of Eggy without using the calendar sync feature until we get the souped-up version with the calendar sync options out.

Couldn’t be without it

I found eggy about 1 year ago . I now couldn’t be without it ! I had tried many other life admin apps - but had always found a reason not to persist . Eggy is the first app that fits all my needs - I am in love with it . I call it my walking filing cabinet . I am a paper person but I can’t carry around a filing cabinet everywhere- so what eggy provides to me is a system to store , compartmentalise and and schedual all my
Life admin in an on the go place . I put my bills on it , my life papers , my kids school notes , warranty receipts , work competencies , medical papers , car paperwork etc etc etc . There are so many things I could say about the great features of eggy - but it would take too much space in this review . I highly encourage you to get eggy for your self.
Ps - when I did first get eggy I emailed them many times to clarify and get advice and understanding of how best to use the features. I always got a prompt and helpful reply .

Amazing Versatile App

“Big Shoutout” to Eggy, an Aussie developed organiser app. I have been trialling it for a year - perfect app for sharing with my husband. I can share a space with my sister (in another suburb) to put appointments for my elderly Dad which we share between us. You can import bills and screenshots from your email or school apps for excursions and stuff easily into the app and add reminders. You can scan in kids party invites. You can share grocery lists with hubby and set them on a repeat weekly timer. You can import your Apple & Google calendars automatically. I cannot speak highly enough of this app.
