Description

eLogBook (powered by eProfiling) is designed for apprentices to record your weekly on-job work activities. It also allows employers to approve/reject apprentices' cards, and run reports. This new version of the app (version 2) now covers several qualifications, including Electrician, Refrigeration and Lineworker.

Just download it, log in using your existing login details, and start filling out your cards without needing to be in front of a computer.

The app now includes a number of features you won't find on our website. When you submit a card on the app, you can immediately hand your phone to your supervisor, and they can review and approve it right then and there on the spot.

You can also take photos of your work and attach them to your card notes. Your supervisor will see these pictures to assist them with signing off your cards.

Also, our enhanced reminder system will help ensure you don't fall behind in your card submission.

After you log in, press on Tutorial to see a helpful video which will assist you with using the app.

Go on, give it a try today!

Would rather do it on paper

This app is sooooooo bad. App crashes upon saving a card. Submit button won’t show after re opening app, I am behind weeks in profiling simply because I cannot do it. Sent multiple bug reports via the app itself and haven’t got a single response back yet... my apprenticeship relies on me completing my job cards in a timely manner.
This apprenticeship is stressful enough without the feeling of falling behind weeks and weeks with no response as to why you can’t complete this simple (very important) weekly task..

Apprentice

The platform is not very user friendly, mobile friendly and outdated.
I find I am constantly clicking on the question mark information box rather than ticking the box I need to select.
Whilst this system goes into more depth than Skills-Tracker it does not give an option to attatch photos.
There is deffinantely room for improvement and it has the potential to be the better choice but as it stands I would prefer to use skills tracker

No improvement

When I did my first apprenticeship that was completed in 2012 the system was about ticking boxes & not actually teaching the skills required.
It was a hassle on paper but at least you only had to fill a card out once & it would be processed even if slow.

Now I’m doing my 2nd apprenticeship in 2023 the only change is it’s digital. Still cumbersome, focusing on box ticking than actually reporting & zero accountability for bosses or the TAFE or Government Departments.
