I read my weekly Australian Epoch Times paper cover to cover and follow their daily news updates the minute the notifications come through to my devices. Husband gets local daily rag which is embarrassingly thin with only a few pages which are 90% advertising, social pages, crosswords and games, weather, death notices and sport and 10% low value, rehashed political scuttlebutt, fear mongering, beat ups aligned with other mainstream media sources, biased left leaning lies, low intellect analysis and shamelessly soft opinions. I put that local rag to its best use by wrapping pet food serving scraps in it twice a day. Epoch has actual journalists who investigate things and report facts. The difference between lightweight dumbed down narrative driven mainstream pap and real journalism in a publication rich with dense and complex reportage and intelligent analysis is stark. Thanks Epoch Times.
A Beacon of True Journalism
The Epoch Times is an example of what journalism should be.
Their articles lack the sensationalism, spin, flawed logic and snipped quotes that have become far too common in the mainstream media.
The same mainstream media claims The Epoch Times is a nothing more than a cesspool of right-wing conspiracy theories; download the app and read their articles for yourself before making up your own mind. I challenge you to find articles from other media outlets as well-researched, balanced and insightful.
The app makes it easy to browse through and read their top-notch articles. My only suggestions for the app would be to (1) allow the app to automatically switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode along with the device, and (2) introduce a few widgets to see the latest headlines at a glance.
Hands down the most accurate news in the world at the moment!
I heard it was started by Falun Gong practitioners. The lamestream media has made this seem like something bad and i actually believed it. Only after looking at the Epoch Times for myself did i realize it’s perhaps one of the most trustworthy media entities out there. They didn’t call the US elections before it was formally declared. Mainstream media has resorted to recursive citations to fabricate the truth. Whereas the Epoch Times upholds its own in depth investigations. I congratulate the team at the Epoch Times for their commitment to honest journalism. Give them another 1 or 2 years and they’ll be the new standard for journalism.
