Description

We are all on a journey of self-cultivation in life, pursuing the fulfillment of the body, mind, and brain, enjoying life while accepting its impermanence.

Essentially, the habits you form will shape the life you lead. Over time, good habits will bring immense value, while the cost of bad habits will become unbearable. The price of good habits is paid in the present, while the cost of bad habits is paid in the future.

Reality tends to repeat itself in similar ways. To avoid making the same mistakes, record the real-life problems you encounter, reflect deeply to find the root causes, thoroughly learn from past experiences, and establish principles to handle similar situations in the future. This will increase your margin for error going forward.

Life is unpredictable. Eudemonia will help us cultivate the ability to accept uncertainty and disappointment, allowing us to live in the present and find peace in the moment. At the same time, it will help us motivate ourselves to achieve the dreams we have but are still hesitant to pursue.

A healthy body is the foundation for all possibilities in life. The essence of illness is that the rate of cellular damage exceeds the rate of repair, and the only thing that can provide the materials for cell repair is food. Based on your physical condition, Eudemonia scientifically calculates your daily nutritional goals and breaks them down into each meal. You can easily track your meals to check if you're meeting your daily nutritional targets. You don’t need to hit the targets with every meal—it’s neither realistic nor necessary. If you’re busy with work, you can adjust your diet on Sundays to maintain dietary balance over a longer period.

As the designer of your own life, focus on the areas and projects you want to explore:

a. Explore the areas of your life that you are curious about and want to delve into.
b. Understand how the world works through the lens of these areas of exploration.
c. Explore more career possibilities and sow the seeds of potential.

Break down your projects (areas you want to explore) into specific stages, and then break each stage into daily tasks. Set deadlines to manage the progress of each stage and the overall project. Upon completing a stage or project, reward yourself to motivate further exploration.

Use the Pomodoro technique to dive deeply into your explorations and avoid inconsistency. It will help improve your focus, increase time efficiency, and aid your brain in separating work from leisure, balancing productivity with rest.

Motivate yourself to perform better with rewards and penalties. Set rewards for the things you want to obtain and naturally work towards earning them. Add a playful element to your daily life by incorporating this system of rewards and penalties.

We are all the designers of our own lives. We welcome you to join us in exploring the script of life. With Eudemonia’s help, we hope you will continually pursue fulfillment, unleash your curiosity about life, understand how the world works through the areas you wish to explore, and plant seeds of potential for the future script of your life.

What’s New

Version 1.0.9

Recently finished reading "THE JOY OF HALF A COOKIE", initially with the goal of improving the meal functionality, but unexpectedly found inspiration in stopping bad habits. Throughout the reading, I felt gently and seriously cared for, which I really liked.

# New
+ Added delay status in project details: indicates whether the stage goal or overall project goal will be completed by the deadline or after it.
+ In the Add Dish/Food section, added a "Tap to Add" prompt, as some users were unsure how to use it.
+ If food can still be added, a continue adding icon will display in the upper left corner, eliminating the need to tap more icons to continue adding, aiming to reduce your operational burden.
+ In the focus and inspiration duration settings, added guidance on "frequent breaks for sustained focus." From my experience, frequent short breaks allow me to focus continuously for 8 hours without feeling tired, and I hope this helps you too.
In the project details, the "More" icon has been added in all focus interfaces, which includes:
+ Show all activities for this project, only incomplete ones, or just completed activities.
+ Long-press on incomplete activities to move them to today's activity list.
+ In the focus and inspiration interface: added a settings menu for recording distractions, allowing you to choose whether to default record endogenous distractions. It will automatically pop up the distraction recording interface and focus the keyboard cursor on the endogenous distraction input field.
+ In the "Record Ideas" and "Accept Thoughts" interface: added a settings option to choose whether to "automatically pop up the keyboard" and "save and exit by pressing the 'Enter' key instead of adding a new line" (only effective for the "Accepting Current Thoughts" input field).
+ New optional feature in the Add Activity interface: whether the input content should be multiline.
+ New setting in the Add Activity interface: whether to always show activity information for all items (total number of activities and duration), as some users provided feedback about potential misunderstandings.
+ New support for recording mood during uncertain events.
+ In the Add Activity and Select Activity interfaces, added overall task status, including: total to-do items, estimated time; how many tasks have been completed, time spent; how many tasks remain, and estimated time needed.
+ In the interface for recording "Living Half-heartedly" or "Wasting Time," added an introduction on how to define "living half-heartedly," emphasizing the importance of defining your own standards rather than relying on external judgments.
+ Added English translations; if they are inadequate, please be forgiving. If you find inappropriate or awkward translations, please feel free to provide feedback via email. Thank you!

# Fixes
- After the latest stage goal of a project expires, it still shows as expired even if the stage goal has been completed.
- For habits completed a fixed number of times daily: if not completed, the previous day's completed count is not reset.
- Typos in the Easter egg section.
- In the post-meal ritual: sometimes the end time for eating is not displayed correctly.
- When no task is selected, holding down will still show options like abandon task; now it will pop up "Select a task to continue" when long-pressed.
- In the habit addition interface, the interface that pops up when tapping "Select other wishes to realize" will automatically close, which is frustrating.
- In problem analysis: the "more" icon in the lower right corner of problems and decisions is hard to tap.
- After exiting the "Estimate how many focus times you can achieve today with available time" interface, the estimated focus times do not update.
- When editing a habit, the repetition count for multiple daily habits is not displayed correctly.
- In iOS 16, the classified situational category does not show the entry to add categories.
