Very hard to fault
I've been waiting a long time for this to be ported into the app store, although I was a little dubious as to how the interface would work.
As it happens it works beautifully, despite my fat thumbs. I'm only a short way in but so far it seems very true to the PC version including serene soundtrack and a wonderful feel.
This is a wonderful, unique RTS that is a must for anyone looking for a decent strategy game on the iPhone.
I really hope they have some expansion packs in the works. The online community pumping out custom maps is one of the best features of the PC version.
Worth buying
Nice game, well thought out and pretty enough. Can get a little sluggish on the 3GS but still playable. The controls work well most of the time, but sometimes are restrictive or fiddly. The real challenge comes in the first part of each level, as once you've passed the tipping point there's not much that can stop you and most levels play out similarly.
Excellent game!
This game is worth well beyond the cost. It is simple to begin with, slowly building to a complex, but easy to use, strategy game you can spend five minutes or an hour playing.
