Description
The EV QuickSmart Mobile app is the official app from Electro-Voice for mobile device control of portable loudspeakers.
EV QuickSmart Mobile is an essential tool for simultaneously configuring, controlling, and monitoring on up to 6 Bluetooth™ equipped EV portable loudspeakers Including ELX200 series, EVOLVE series, EVERSE 8, and the all new EVERSE 12. Using BLE connectivity, you can adjust EQ settings, gain, preset, and crossover parameters while in front of your PA system. You can even mix your entire show on the fly from your device with mixer equipped speakers like EVOLVE 30M/50M and EVERSE 8 and EVERSE 12. Have peace of mind knowing that you are treating your system well during a performance with signal and limiter status indicators, battery life indicators for EVERSE, as well as notifications for loss on connection and input clip events. Make quick adjustments to multiple speakers at once with dynamic component grouping and locate your speakers in a dark show room with LED identification.
With EV QuickSmart Mobile, you can now take full control of your system with your phone or tablet. Control your sound from where you are, not where the knob is!

Not reliable at all
This app now refuses to connect to your speaker unless you update the firmware. Which you can’t do when you’re at a gig can you EV? Really bad product planning and an unreliable app. Please think about what you are releasing EV!
Works fairly well. Can glitch a little
Using this with the 30M arrays x 2.
Generally quite reliable, although sometimes it can lose connection which creates a little bit of a lag as you try to reconnect. (Or restart the app, which isn’t ideal)
Also, you can’t actually change the input names - the option to do it is there, but then it just takes you to a useless screen that says “Rename Input”, teasing you like a schoolyard bully.
If that gets fixed, that would be useful
