• Open and edit projects directly in your cloud storage. If you keep your Explain Everything projects on a cloud repository outside the app, you can now open them using Files. When you're finished editing your project, Explain Everything will automatically save it to the original location. This also lets teachers send and receive Explain Everything projects as Schoolwork assignments.
Ratings and Reviews
How this App is not consistently #1 in the Educational App Store is beyond me. It proves to be an essential tool in my Science classes because it offers the ability for the students to CREATE their own content and show a depth of understanding that might not come across in purely written form. It also helps engage reluctant writers to still use key words and meet the required outcomes in verbal form. We also use it to annotate and crop images to create posters. The updated UI improvements for iOS 11 have been exceptional and the continual evolution of this App by the developers has been welcomed. We also use Stick Around extensively and these two 'sister Apps' complement each other beautifully as the students learn the common tool set to work within both Apps; creating the instructional material in EE and then designing rich assessment tasks as puzzles in SA. Seamlessly importing the EE file as a recording into SA produces a professional looking finishing product. Pedagogical powerhouses!
Number 1 Education App
I use this application daily in my classroom. When using just my device I project what I am writing to the projector at the front of the class, using the second screen option.
My students find it to be one of the most versatile and easy to use apps available, for creating and sharing their work. Students pick up on how to use EE with ease, creating detailed PDFs to informative videos explaining their thinking.
I wouldn’t want to teach without it. I was very unhappy to find out they were moving to a subscription based service and I reluctantly removed the app from my school’s app list. Fortunately EE have listened to feedback and will continue to offer the one-time purchase app!

Great! I have a feature request
I really like having this “infinite whiteboard” idea. I use the app to brainstorm and draw mind maps without worrying about space.
I use it on my iPad with the Apple Pencil. The palm rejection is not great. Often it changes the zoom when I’m writing partway through a sentence which can get a bit irritating. It would be great if I could lock zoom so that I can write freely for a certain section, and then unlock the zoom to change to a different part of the whiteboard or to zoom out to see how everything fits together etc.

Hi, thank you for leaving a review - much appreciated!
As for locking zoom, please try disabling Zoom and Pan option in the Hand Tool sub-menu (second tap on the Hand Tool). This way, you'd only be able to zoom and pan while the Zoom Tool is selected. If that doesn't help, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you out there.
