The Pro-Q 3 app filters the microphone input and plays it back in real-time. To use Pro-Q 3 as a plug-in, you need an AUv3-compatible host app like Auria, AUM or Cubasis. Pro-Q 3 will appear in the list of Audio Unit extensions for effect plug-ins in the host app.

Ratings and Reviews
Pricey, but worth it
It might seem like a lot of money for an iOS app that’s mainly just a plug in - and it is - but the quality and utility of this app is amazing.
It seems to be equal function-by-function to its computer counterpart, and the same functions map beautifully to touch input as well. It’s probably the simplest, easiest, and most versatile tool of its kind on the App Store.
For computer users, this plugin fantastic, but also a big jump in price from plenty of other good, cheap plugins. It’s price/utility is probably not right for all users. On iOS the price/utility is a no-brainer. There are other good plugin apps, but nothing in this class, despite much lower prices. The only real danger is that it might make you want to buy its far pricier computer counterpart.
Recommended.
Simply brilliant
You wouldn’t get this plugin (nor any other of the fabfilter plugins) for these prices on PC - and they are a class above the rest - If you’re into DAWs, audio production, recording, engineering or mixing then you need to try these out! Fantastic
Too powerful for my iPad Pro
Great on its own, but maxes out my dsp in cubasis 3 on my iPad Pro if I try to use with any other insert. Am asking for a refund.
