For a social media website that dominates the online world, I’m amazed at how glitchy the iPhone Facebook app continues to be after years and years. From phantom notifications to the endless random faults in the pages section. The Facebook app often drives me up the wall. Editing events seems to be the worst part, the amount of times, I’ve spent hours writing a carefully thought out description, only for it to suddenly disappear when I go to save has meant that I now have to make sure I always copy text and take extra precautions to make sure all the details on events appear the way they are supposed to. Recently, they gleefully announced changes to the pages section and a profile/page switching option. Not much has changed for the better. All the parts that were glitchy are probably still glitchy. Now I seem to get twice the amount of notifications because I’m notified on both my profile and my pages which is quite annoying. As much as I appreciate Facebook for being a leading social media site, I’m still left feeling there is a lot to be desired about the way the application functions on my phone. It could be so much better! A user friendly simplicity seems to be lacking.Apart from that, the lack of accountability by the organisation leaves me speechless. Multinational companies like Meta get away with so much!!

I have absolutely loved my time on Facebook. I’ve got two animal groups, ANIMALS AND FUN TIMES and A Dog is a Man and Womans Best Friend. I’ve had both groups running for a few years now and the members of both my groups have always been respectful and supportive and kind to each other. I have lovely friends on my personal Facebook page which I have had since 2013, I did try to join in 2011 but only had use of my friends computer when I visited him to care for him as he had terminal cancer. I’m a member of several groups in my local community and animal groups and a few local market place groups. I have only ever had one man being a bully to me when I was asked to be a temporary administrator on a local community group while the groups owner had a break from Facebook. It shocked me because if you look at my involvement and interactions with anyone on any social media platform you will see I’m always kind and respectful. But I’m no longer upset by this man because he’s got a reputation in all aspects of his life as a bully and a very nasty person. I always abide by Facebook community guidelines and expectations and rules. I want to acknowledge the due diligence and commitment and professionalism of Facebook administrators and moderators. I understand how difficult your job is but know you do the best to your ability and are so dedicated and diligent and extremely helpful and fair. The real problem with plasma burning is not yet released and the fact is that it is extreme enough to burn all the oxygen elements into a non breathable element, we only need to look back at what oxygen levels were like millions or billions of years ago that were non breathable for humans. That would have consisted entirely from volcanic and collision’s impact from asteroids and meteorites of certain minerals, can you help me explain what it is that these scientists are not interpreting, including carbon and hydrogen and all other elements found in the air that is particles of subatomic size and has anyone done enough research on what it is that is left in the air once the plasma has been burnt in a controlled confined box that has no other air or elements or subatomic particles reenter it or escape from it. What would be the most significant example of how dangerous iit might be because of the plasma burning the molecular structure and elements, electrons neutrons and everything else is not the exact same that even the carbon dioxide change or formation would have detrimental effect on plants and marine life organisms also would be effected by the elements structure of other elements forming, also including the formation of molecular processes, the fusion might affect how the elements restructure back to molecular formulas that the hydrogen element might not be able to bond certain formulas that it becomes more complex or depleted that it leaves a chemical formula rather than a molecular formula that has been around since humans evolved

There’s simply nothing good about this platformanymore. When Meta became the parent AKA dictator, it has completely ruined Facebook. It’s done the same to instagram. Time to look for other social media platforms that Meta doesn’t have its poisonous paws on. I’d give a 0 out of 5 if I could but I can’t. It’s amazing also how I can log in on my iPad but when I try on my iPhone after doing all the right things with updates, refreshing the phone & the app and I enter my password it either says wrong password, no internet connection (when there is with my iPad) or network is not available, please try again later. So far it’s been 1 week since I’ve been able to login to my iPhone and I still can’t. Facebook help is pathetic, there’s no way to communicate and when you go through the Facebook security you just get a generic message. When you respond you get nothing back. There is no contact number or customer support. This platform should be shutdown by higher “Gods” as should Meta.. An absolute complete disgrace!!

Your platform removed my Facebook and Instagram accounts for no reason, one day I tried to open it and it was gone. I had been on since 2007 ish. There is no way to contact you about issues, and any attempt I made to write to any email address was never acknowledged. I lost two business accounts which lost me hundreds of clients and my livelihood. I hardly post anything, and definately nothing you or anybody else would find offensive. You see I am all about love, peace and kindness to all. Your platform is not. It creates division bias and has way too many ads that are so irrelevant to me. Your algorithms are way off and are super annoying. During covid your fact checkers were biased to the government agenda and you actually looked really stupid and ignorant.Also please boycott the Australian government, no one wants to prove they are over 16 by means of digital I.d. You will loose many thousands of accounts. I had to rebuild my business and now I do not rely on your platform to post photos or run a business page as I now realise how technology can so easily delete you.I obviously know that no one will ever discuss these issues with me or probably even read this. The power you have is disgustingly. You should try using it for love and to help people as it would be amazing.

This latest update is genuinely disappointing for one specific reason: the removal of pinned songs from profiles on the iOS app. Pinned songs weren’t just a cosmetic feature—they were a meaningful form of self-expression. Being able to visit someone’s profile and immediately see (and hear) what they chose to represent themselves added personality, context, and connection. It made profiles feel human instead of generic. Now, songs can technically still be “selected,” but they’re effectively hidden. Burying them inside Personal Details, requiring extra clicks just to find them, completely defeats the purpose. They no longer function as pinned songs at all. If this feature only works properly on desktop, that’s a serious miss—most users engage through mobile, especially iOS. This change removes creativity, visibility, and individuality from profiles with no clear benefit to the user. What was once an expressive, social feature has been reduced to a tucked-away data point. Please reconsider this decision or restore pinned songs to profile pages on the iOS app. This wasn’t a minor feature—it was one of the few ways profiles felt personal.

My account was hacked. I followed every step in the Facebook help page to try and recover it, but unsuccessful . I got my friends to report my hacked account as the hackers were creating post trying to scam people into buying lawn mowers, motorbikes and other rubbish. The account was eventually removed. I have lost all my memories and photos, including photos with loved ones who have sadly passed. I have since tried to make a new Facebook account yet I am instantly suspended, I follow the steps to verify my account with the face tracking videos which just results in my account being permanently suspended. I have tried this process multiple times as I need my Facebook account for work. Yet every single time, the account is suspended. Facebook has been useless in helping with this matter. There is practically no way to contact them and you can’t access their help page properly without an account. So incredibly disappointing and very poor user support from Facebook. I know I’m not the only person who has been in this position as there are hundreds of threads on reddit about the same issue. Surely a company so large would have better systems in place and access to 1:1 support. Absolute joke.

Please do something about the review system for sellers on Marketplace…at least 1/3 of the sellers are total time wasters or scammers! You agree to the listing price, confirm the pick up time & address & then they sell to someone else who offers more. Yesterday I drove for half an hour to pick up something & they messaged me 3 minutes before the organised time to tell me they sold it to someone else who ‘offered more when I told them you were coming’. I got the message when I was outside her house! An hour drive there & back and over $10 in tolls for nothing! Sellers do this all the time & the rating system is completely insufficient to warn buyers about them…& as such there is no reason for them to do the right thing. There needs to be a comment section where you can write exactly what they have done. I have also reported someone before for selling a broken robot vac which was conveniently out of battery on pick up…they swore then & afterwards that it was in perfect condition even when I sent a video of the terrible noise it was making as soon as I got home & it had charged. Nothing gets done when these people are reported! And your customer service is completely non-existent. Please do better.

Spent 3 hours trying to figure out what email was connected to my account.. I never found it but I could easily find were too buy things in the SETTINGS?? so I had to make a whole new account on my phone, once I made the new account it deleted my other ones, but now because there all connected to the same phone number they are lost forever. After going through all this I tried to sign in on my laptop with the same password as the account I just made and never used before other than the account I just made just for it to force me to sign in to an account I haven’t used in years with no other option. You would also think one of the richest companies in the world would have a clean modern design… wrong all the sign up pages load and look like there from 2002 and everything in settings is completely useless but the useful stuff is hidden away and IMPOSSIBLE to find not to mention the amount of examples of the app asking you something than completely disregarding whatever you answer with and doing what it feels like on the next page. Full disrespect I could make a cleaner easier to navigate website with a $1 Shopify plan, my hands tied, and a blindfold on

My account has been hacked and compromised. I can’t get back in to it cause the hacker has linked there email so all codes are getting sent to them. This is very stressful and there is no where to help the user. For the biggest online social media and most dominating one you would think they have more to help. I’ve reported and reported as much as I can and yet not one person had gotten back to me. You would think again being the biggest social media and the one that’s been around the longest they would have people to help you. Facebook just sends you around and around. All it does is sends me to created “new password” but add your old one. How can I do this if I’ve been hacked??? The hacker has taken off my mobile so no codes could be sent. I had codes sent to me whilst trying to get back on to Instagram and the scammer has created dodgey links to send to me. I hate that Facebook brought insta and they had to link them up cause when ones hacked they all are. It’s appalling. Not to mention I had all my accounts turned on with extra protection and these didn’t get sent. So that was a waste of time. FACEBOOK if you could please have the issue resolved that would be great.
