Amended to: Does work and great support!! Fun tipping with prizes to boot.
Initially had issue: App says device linked to another user and to contact support. App support message didn’t submit. “App support” link in Apple Store didn’t go to any support page and i couldn’t find any support contact on the web.
Being frustrated I left a review to which Fanzo responded promptly. They updated their support links and fixed my issue. Shout out to Fletcher at FANZO who was very helpful and understanding.
Issue resolved and I’m a happy chappy. Thanks FANZO and thanks to Fletcher!

Worst user experience
The data consumption of the app is way too high. The user interface is garbage. No one needs a splash screen and wants to wait for it. Navigating to my local pub's tipping competition takes way too many clicks. The ranking is garbage and half of the screen shows the irrelevant header... Just scroll it full screen. There's no clarity about when you can get a free pot. There seems to be some arbitrary cut off date. I submitted my tips Thursday and it didn't give me a free pot. Tipping pots expire now after 2h. Pots to gift after 7 days. Totally inconsistent behaviour across the board. No explanations. Similarly you only can receive one pot to gift per week, but the week's cutoff date is not clear. Overall summary: as a software engineer myself I'm appalled at how bad this app is implemented. Just grey out the "claim" button with a timer underneath when I cannot currently claim a pot and allow me to submit my tips Thursday and grant me the free pot to expire Saturday morning. Also, show the expiration time in relative terms (like 4h20min).
Usability
One of the more usable apps on my phone. Clear layout and design. Nothing better than seeing the “you have won a free pot” notification either. An application I will definitely be recommending
