Find text in your documents' contents, not just in their names.

The app also supports searching in network file shares (e.g. SMB, FTP, AFP). On your Mac top menu, navigate to "Go" -> "Connect to Server..." and enter the server address and credentials. Then the network share will appear in Finder as a Volume and will be selectable from the app.

Works with remote shares (FTP, SMB, AFP, etc) via Volumes
This is a no-frill and simple app that gets the job done.
My collegues share documents on FTP and SMB network shares. I was concerned this app only works with local files.
I emailed the developers, and they advised me to use the "Connect to Server" wizard, which mounts the remote share as a volume in Finder. This worked and I could search the shared folders!
excellent app, really worked!
I used this app while Finder in Mac does not work.
I searched file contents in PDFs, Word and basically in all the formats. It worked well and very quickly!
