Description
Firefight is a World War II real-time simulation game with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modelled with a physics engine and have gears, rev counters and speedos, and steer themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movement. Each bullet, shell or piece of shrapnel is modelled in 3D and ricochets realistically off sloping surfaces. You can see each infantryman's rank, name, weapon, ammunition remaining, heart rate and fatigue levels. Machine gunners will call for ammunition when they're running low and other squad members will rush over with spare ammo if they are carrying any. Wounded men call for medics who will sprint over to administer first aid. Off-board artillery can be called in but will have to fire several ranging shots before the full 8 gun battery opens fire simultaneously.
Play against either the sophisticated built-in AI, or a friend over the internet.

Great game but…
Awesome game great graphics for mobile and pc the sound is very nice the movement is good but the lack of units in the game could get better what I’m saying is I know how long it takes to make a game I just feel like you left something out like mobile artillery or maybe more vehicles in each time period or where you choose where the enemy units go so you can make historical events but I love the game and will keep playing it
Maybe you can add a British v Italy front where it’s the invasion of Italy idk it be cool
Amazing game
This game, quite frankly, is MUCH better than I thought it would be when I downloaded it. The reason I didn’t have very high expectations was because I had almost given up on finding a tactical game like this on mobile. Anyway, I liked what I saw, and I’m glad that I got it! I bought all the maps (including future ones), and that was when I discovered how replayable this game is, especially now that it has a custom scenario builder. I’ve had Firefight for about 2-3 years now, and I’m glad that it’s finally getting more updates.
One question I have for the developer, Sean, that is, is that I got a PC some time ago, and I saw that Firefight is on Steam. I like the idea of playing on a big screen, but I would like to know if I have to pay for it again. It would be good if I could somehow get it without paying more money for something I already own on another platform (mobile). If you could contact me regarding this, I would very much appreciate it.

Good but way too expensive
This is an excellent game for those who like a more immersive tactical experience. Realistic use of ground, fire missions, tactical decision making are all strong positives, as are the reasonably regular updates.
However for the price this is simply nowhere near a 5 start game. I’m aware it takes a lot to create an original game and kudos to the developer, but I’m afraid the game is far too limited and one dimensional for the price tag. Not only that, once you’ve decided to support the developer and make the initial payment every other update seems to be behind another paywall. I’ve been waiting a while for new maps and units but I’m simply not willing to pay console prices for what is a fairly basic mobile game.
Great potential, ruined by developer greed.
