Excellent definitions
Really easy to add predefined flash cards from the dictionary and the definitions are very comprehensive, as in you can see all the different definitions that come together for one character, to help you understand the word and the Chinese culture in more detail. The program is easy to use for the most part but could do with a few usability tweaks - such as variable text size on flash cards so the words can fit on the page (or scrolling) - and prioritising search results more intuitively for Pinyin which is probably the most common way of searching for new flash cards.
Fantastic for Mandarin/Chinese word lookup
I’ve used it for many years.
I especially like that it tells you if a word is in the HSK exams and, if so, what level. That means that if you look up a translation you get an idea of how common a word is in Mandarin.
The flash card features are also great.
Thank you to the developers for years of help learning/maintaining my Mandarin.
