First of all thanks Hank & team for making this app. This is the first and only timer app of its kind that works for me. I genuinely put the phone down because of the counter on the lock screen. This has made a huge positive difference in my phone addiction already, so thank you. One feature request I have is that, some times when I set a timer, I end up not touching the phone for longer than the timer duration. The bean however stops knitting when the timer ends. Could we please make it keep knitting until I pick up the phone again? Like if I set the timer for 30 minutes but don’t pick up the phone for 60, can I please have the socks worth of 60 minutes? I’m a piano teacher and am currently studying to complete my diploma for music. I’ve always struggled to keep my attention on anything for long period of time, but I gotta say… this app has motivated me with such willpower I never knew possible. I’m so determined to give my little Bean friend a fully decorated room. If I could give any feedback, there’s just 2 things I’d recommend. 1) I would love to decorate an entire house, and maybe even have more piano/music themed decorations. 2) Could you make a feature where my students can have a focus friend to help them practise, and then I can see how much time they’ve dedicated to their homework. A sort of “Teacher’s Mode”. I love this app so far, and can’t wait to see the updates. Thanks Hank!

This is such a stinkin cute app. I love all the decor and bean puns and cute things the bean says and does. I wish she could interact with the things I bought for her room like sit in the chair and look at the things on the desk or pick a book out from the shelf or just stop to admire a new inclusion or upgraded after I’ve just added it. Also love the idea someone else had of having knitted clothing options for little bean friend. I think it’s also a missed opportunity that they don’t knit beanies! Overall a good level of challenge and reward where you have to work a bit to get enough sock money saved to buy stuff but not too difficult or time consuming that you lose motivation before you can get that little hit of dopamine!

I love the app, the animation and colours are really cute and it’s really great at keeping me off my phone when I’m studying or trying to sleep. I really like that it has both a count up and count down, as well as a break timer.One thing I would add though is either a notes function or a checklist that you can access in app. I have the free version so it locks all the apps which is great but I often have my checklist on my phone or I write quick notes, and I think it would be beneficial to have a checklist function in the app while it’s in focus mode. Or a notes spot where you can dot down things like, reply to manager once I can access my phone or check this important notification.I think adding something like this would help me keep on task for longer as I struggle to keep with this and then I stress and catastrophes that I’ll forget to check something once the focus time is done. At the moment I’m using paper but I think having it as an app feature could be really beneficial.Overall though, a very very helpful study tool!
