Extremely rude “customer service”
Order didn’t arrive, emailed the restaurant and UberNerds. Called the Uber nerds number on the confirmation email, explained the situation. The man said
“I’m just the payment for platform, you’ll need to talk to the restaurant”
“How can I get a refund through the restaurant if you’re the payment platform”
He laughed, said “look it’s Friday night, I don’t want to have this argument”
I was not arguing, I was asking. Makes me think he gets calls of complaint a lot that he doesn’t want to deal with, though he’s put his number there to be the contact.
I began to say that this was the phone number listed to call if there was a problem, he hung up. Never use this service, it’s a scam, and they don’t even pretend it isn’t.
Terrible app
Such a bad experience that I’m inspired to write my first one star review.
There was no way to search for restaurants on the app. The home screen allowed me to access a single restaurant that was 25km away (and no longer in existence, by the way), yet no local restaurants showed up, despite them advertising they’re on the app. A complete waste of time.
Very User unfriendly, possible scam
Cannot find any way to access the menus of food establishment, all the app does is provide a google map and you can’t even select food establishments from there.
