Good, but a step down from the old app

The old app allowed us to add comments/requests to each of our favorites individually (which was better). Other than that, the app works well.

Getting a refund is like pulling teeth

On 2 separate occasions, I have spent hours texting back and forth with customer service, trying to get a refund credited to my account for an order that was cancelled (an hour after it was placed) from a store that was not connected to Food Hub. The service suggested I apply to have the funds put into the app “wallet” which I did, but there is NO wallet feature in my app! The store has since been removed, but I still don’t know where my refund is. The issue was transferred up the hierarchy and it’s been put back onto me to provide 10 months of credit card statements to prove that my credit card hasn’t been credited. Seriously?!?

Months later… I just ordered from another restaurant (this app was the only option) and after the order was accepted and charged to my card, it sat in limbo, waiting for the shop to accept. 15 mins of waiting and I eventually rang and was informed that the store was having issues with food hub 🤬. A few minutes later, the app sends a message that the shop rejected the order (rubbish!) and my account will be refunded within 5 days! Outrageous. Again. I guess I’m the fool for trying it twice.

Was really excited then…

Was really excited to come across this app, the Indian place I get my Indian from has Foodhub as their website food delivery company, added the app which has a great interface, ordered really easy, paid just as easy, then comes the order confirmation page…

I sat and waited and waited, ended up setting up the exact same order on another app in the meantime cause I could see where this was going, cancelled the order after waiting 10mins for confirmation went straight onto the other app, paid then it was confirmed in less then a minute and cooking, so really was not a good first time experience for me.

I just dont get why the place wouldnt be accepting foodhub orders but everything else but clearly they were.
