By ordering from foodpod app, you are supporting your local food store to stay in business and keep the prices lower. How? Well, unlike other food ordering portals who can take a fair chunk of the store margins, the foodpod app is supplied free to the store as it is integrated into the point-of-sale system being used within the store. This means lower overheads to your favourite store, in turn, prices stay lower.
Fast ordering
By placing your order via foodpod, the order is directly pushed to the stores' point of sale system, the store accepts your order and order dockets are printed ready for preparation.
Menu is always up-to-date
The foodpod menu you see is updated from stores internal point of sale, so changes to the menu are reflected in real-time.
Register, Order and Pay
foodpod app is free to download from the Appstore (apple devices version ios 11 and above).
Once downloaded, simply browse for your favourite store, order items then, Register your details, including name, mobile number, email and password. Unless you log out, the app will stay open for future orders. Use the email and password for login.
To Order, select the store you would like to order from (nearest stores are displayed first). Save the store as favourites for quicker selection.
Select the items you wish to order, then Finalise,
Before payment, an option to Change pickup date or time and optional notes.
Enter your credit card details then pay. Credit card is charged via the banks secure portal.
You will receive a push notification when the store accepts (or rejects) your order.
The order may be rejected if one or more items are unavailable.
Check your device for notification as Time for preparation may be changed by the store.
The amount being charged may add credit card surcharge, and if applicable Delivery fees
The delivery of food is totally controlled by the store so please contact the store for any assistance.
Foodpod is only available to food stores currently using the ClickPOS system. Released in 2021 and is proudly designed, developed, and supported in Australia.
