FordPass‪™‬ 4+

I drive a 2024 ford ranger single cab Bi-turbo.
Got on to the app and it has made things easier with the remote start. Especially in the cold mornings I get the ute started and by the time I get in the cab it’s nice and warm.

Love the gps location as i sometimes forget where I’ve parked the ute in Westfield shopping centres. With this I know where it is and have the ute running. Like the app might need a few things to add. The app works fine just have to refresh app after use. 👍👍👍

The premise of the app is great but the operational aspect has got me in trouble twice.
I used the remote lock function to go the shops and when I came out it wouldn’t unlock. Took about 30 minutes for it to work, I had my keys in the Ute. The second time similar situation except we had our caravan attached, was sitting in the van and remotely locked the Ute, again the keys were in the Ute (should have learned). Got up in the morning to unlock the Ute with no success. Rang Ford, who were of no help, and proceeded to let me know it was an app that I was using and they had no control over the operation of it. Where I believe it is the complete opposite. It’s a feature largely advertised by Ford. Anyway 6 hours later and $300 later a locksmith was able to successfully make access in to our Ute. Fair to say I don’t use the app anymore.

The latest update removed features like Trailer light check Zone lighting control Owners manual I would have thought it would be better to add more features rather than remove features I would love to see a feature like a previous person stated, DPF level including making that available on dash as I know the car is capable of showing this.

I would also like to be able to be reassured that the car was locked, I can unlock and lock the car via the app, but no indication of current state, have seen this available in most other manufacturers app
