Relieved
I was directed to update the App on my Mac as the old one was discontinued. When I tried to update in the app store it wouldn't download. I then tried FreeChat for WhatsApp and it downloaded easily and seems to be much quicker. It would have been nice to have been told to do this in the notification.
Good but annoying popups
I enjoyed using this app. It’s really handy to be able to use whatsapp on my laptop. It works well. But I ended up uninstalling it because I was sick of getting popup windows everytime I used it thanking me for installing it and then dialog boxes asking me if I want to install other programs of theirs. Too annoying!
Quick and free
its great that it is free unlike most of the overpriced apps on the App Store. It is super quick to message. i’ve been using this app for a few years on my macbook air and haven’t ever had any glitches. it is also very convenient to send attachments etc by drag-drop.
