I am giving 5 star so this can be seen by all.

This app is slow and glitches consistently. You will find most of the freelancers are happy to cheat you when they can and will try and take you off the app and communicate on WhatsApp instead. I have had many issues of blackmail with certain freelancers or simply not replying and lying about finished work and freelancer themselves have been very poor at helping with it.

The app is also incredibly complicated and poorly designed and it is hard to find things such as simply looking at your freelancers profile. Quite silly.

You will also find yourself getting charged for many different things, such as adding a new milestone to an already open project will cause another 10% deduction.

This app needs much more improvement and when compared to similar apps
such as ‘Fiver’ it is really operating in the bottom end of the field.

After hiring endless freelancers incapable of doing work needed and making websites worst I found Ali.S.
Ali. S is like finding a diamond in the rough. His work ethic is nothing short of sensational. He has an eye for detail and no request was too hard for him and he never complained. The website looks outstanding and all broken links and missing data repaired and functioning. Communication is great and super friendly and polite.
Will hire again for the next 3 websites.

A disheartening experience with Freelancer

I joined Freelancer with high expectations of a seamless freelance platform for project collaboration. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, prompting me to share my concerns on the App Store.

The lack of transparency in the verification process has led to substantial project delays, affecting both timelines and professional relationships. Despite my numerous attempts to communicate with the support team, the responses have been inadequate and unhelpful.

The platform’s insistence on obtaining extensive personal information, including a photo ID, without prior notice during signup, is not only intrusive but also raises serious privacy concerns.

Moreover, the recent demand for personal verification has resulted in the platform withholding funds for a project, causing unwarranted complications and jeopardizing project timelines. The urgency of this matter has not been met with a satisfactory resolution, leading to an impasse in the project’s progress.

I strongly caution potential users against engaging with Freelancer due to these issues, and I hope my review serves as a warning to others seeking a reliable and transparent freelancing platform.
