Ratings and Reviews
Finally, a viable replacement for nvALT
As a long-time nvALT user with well over 1,000 notes in rtf format, this app is a giant relief — all my notes are now accessible from a modern, industrial-strength app. nvALT doesn’t work well (if at all) in High Sierra — it well-and-truly feels like it’s on its last legs. FSNotes on the other hand works beautifully in High Sierra as you’d expect.
There are a few features this has which nvALT never had eg the ability to synchronise notes in iCloud, as well as to specify multiple source folders for your notes.
Also, the FSNotes developer is super-responsive, making this app both very promising (ios version is in the works) and very usable right now. Highly recommended for anyone leaving nvALT behind.
