FusionSolar 4+

Been using the app for a few years now and works a treat. Main issue i have is i set up ready for a battery but as the inverter is only capable with the 1 lg chem batt that got discontinued i now cannot connect the battery as planned.
I have contacted huawei and they have designed their own battery that is still NOT compatible with it.
So a year after installing what was supposed to be a really good hybrid inverter is rendered as a standard inverter unable to connect a battery!
Now im going to have to change the whole inverter to add battery…
What a waste! Surely they could do an update to be compatible with a battery…

With initial Huawei solar installation a couple years ago, the installer set up the partnered Huawei app called FusionSolar. I tried opening the app tonight & pop up said FusionSolar app needed an upgrade. Once pressed confirm, it de-registered the entire account then sent me to the App Store for a totally new FusionSolar app. I had to re-confirm all T&c’s + privacy etc (already done with the initial app but wanted it all again). Then when used same log in details i got another pop up saying “Login failed. The account has been deactivated. Please contact the administrator.”
This should have only required an app upgrade, or migration of account details to the new app, using the same login details. Not an entirely new app & deactivation of Huawei account.
I would choose a different solar brand if I had my time over.

The app is really intuitive and easy to understand. What would make it better is the ability to see messages or notifications in an inbox. The current app has them appearing on my Lock Screen. I can only see the first few lines. When I click it, the message disappears from the Lock Screen, it opens the app, and the notification/message is gone.
