Description
Key features include:
• Group/subgroup lookup – This feature allows you to store up to 100 GOLF Link numbers in your profile and view the GA Handicaps of everyone in your list. You’ll only need to add players once before incorporating them into your groups. Create and name your own subgroups, such as ‘Saturday players’, ‘Family’, ‘Work golfers’, and so on.
• Notifications – Receive notifications anytime someone in your list has a new score processed to their GOLF Link record. Keep fully up to date with everyone’s scores as they come in!
• Daily handicap calculator – Choose the tees/course and this feature will display Daily Handicaps for you and everyone in your lists.
• Handicap record display – For you and any players in your list.
• Share scores and handicaps – The share feature enables you to message copies of scores/handicaps to your friends via text message, WhatsApp, Facebook, email, and more.

A bit better that the website.
It’s a pity that Golf Australia didn’t buy the IP or learn from the outstanding ‘Handycap’ app they killed off just over a year ago now. This app is like the website. Positives are it’s so much easier to navigate than the website on a phone and it does sub-groups. Negatives it only does handicaps (no events) , doesn’t go back more that 23 rounds, doesn’t have any of the neat tracking ‘handicap’ had and it takes up a lot of room for each player on screen.
App seems to be not working at present
About a week ago couldn’t see updates to weekly scores. Though my golf club was reporting H/C changes. Today App wouldn’t open so “updated” - but still doesn’t open. No notice received that GA App needed updating (A League soccer did same thing, no notification, missed 3 rounds before found an update). I’d rank it 4 normally, at present thinking less. TG It finally reopened but took a while to show my H/C history. But still missed last 3 rounds. The 10 - 15 friends I had listed haven’t appeared yet :-( TG2

good but not great
I use it to list/view the handicaps for all the participants for our upcoming golf competitions - I need to create and share a list that incorporates a persons name and handicap directly onto a single page so everyone can see what their (and other people's) handicaps are for the day. Alas I cannot easily do this because I can only report/share one person at a time (and trying to share 30-odd people in this app is very time consuming).
