80’s Fun Reborn!
This game is extremely addicting and great. It has really nice controls, and really good graphics too. I really like how the developers put additional features in the game, as it was like a whole new Galaga game. To be honest, it’s kind of like Crossy Road and one of those Nickelodeon games. Namco really did an excellent job on this app. 4/5.
Awesome remake
I started playing this after having it suggested to me by a friend. Initally on an iphone, but its much more fun on an iPad. Many ships to choose from (i have them all now) and plenty of interesting weapons, and classic enemies to fight in this fast paced arcade shooter remake. Only gripe is rescued fighters should stay until they are bombed by the enemy. Also, new ships please. I have all the current ones maxxed out :-)
Designed by committee
I can see a room full of developers all putting forward good ideas about how to improve on a classic game. Instead of choosing the best few ideas they made the mistake of using them all. What a mess. Too fast. Too busy. Really annoying not being able to just buy the game instead of being forced to watch ads all the time. Ship and weapon upgrades (if necessary in the first place) should be earned through game play not paid for. Greed wins again.
