Galarm - Alarms and Reminders 4+

Fulfills my life needs and has decent ring tones, but I wish the alarms would ring persistently until I disable them.

Great app, but unfortunately does not have a basic function: enable alarm sound when a phone is in silent/vibration mode.

For a paid, alarm app, it is expected any sort of sound or reaction regardless if the phone is in silent/vibration mode, even if the app is open or not.

When they fix it I will definitely subscribe again.

Starting release 8.1 (mid-May 2024), Galarm is using the "Critical Alerts" capability to ring alarms when the phone is muted. This feature requires an additional permission on your phone to be enabled for Galarm: "Phone Settings > Scroll down to Galarm > Notifications > Critical Alerts".

If you don't want the alarms to ring when your phone is silent, you can disable the following setting: "Galarm Settings (tab) > Sound and Vibration > Critical Alerts" and the warning will go away. You can also control this setting on a per-alarm basis.

Please also have notifications enabled for Galarm -- https://www.galarmapp.com/setup-ios. You can contact us using "Galarm (app) > Settings (tab) > Feedback".

Thanks for your candid review. We're glad you like Galarm and care enough about it to share your suggestions to us. However, and unfortunately, due to iOS features available to Apple iPhone app developers like us, we maybe be able to have our own sound/volume settings or cannot implement the vibrate mode just as simply as we have on Android.

For comparison, if you use Galarm on an Android phone, we provide a very comprehensive set of sound and vibration options. Our goal is to equip our iPhone user community with that, too. We will keep exploring options to enable vibration setting on our iPhone app and let you know if there is a progress, e.g., would be willing to let the app consume a more battery if we were to somehow find a way to enable the separate sound and vibration options?

Great that I can set up multiple alarms on dates and times

Wish I could disable an alarm by voice or set the repeat on alarm for less than two times

Also when I’m on a call and an alarm goes off I can’t deactivate the alarm so it just keeps going off while in a conversation

Also wish I could set a shorter time for the alarm to go off. It runs for too long
