Gardenia - Plant Organizer 4+

The interface is great and love how easy it is to use. Would love to have some better reminder features and better descriptions of watering times etc. that aren’t ‘average’, hard to know if that is once a week or three times a week!
Otherwise a good app.

This is a great idea for an app! The user experience is really nice, and the concepts are there, however there’s still a lot to be done to get this app to a good & ready to use format! However not all plants show up in the encyclopaedia, and as a newbie to gardening, searching and filtering plants based on their scientific names is difficult. It would be great to see visuals of all, and not just some of the plants listed (and I acknowledge that’s easier said than done!). Requesting care information on plants results in bugs and error messages, and basic household plants don’t seem to have their care information included as yet. It would also be great to request new plant types in the system instead of linking to a support email! I’ve deleted the app for now, but I’m so excited to see where this app ends up a few years from now.

I like the variety reminder types and the flexibility of recurring reminder configurations.
However..
The reminders are too easy to dismiss. It would be good to see a list of reminders when you log into the app which then you can tick off one by one and they disappear. At present, I just get a reminder on the home screen of my phone to water a certain plant - then I open the app and the reminder is gone.
Also the location feature doesn’t work for me. I can click through to the screen with the option to type a location into the search bar or use current location. I type my location in and press return but nothing happens. I’ve also enabled location services and tried clicking the use current location button but it doesn’t respond.
