The application is not user friendly and very stressful to use - it has never functioned properly. Many times you cannot access all the documents saved to each job and every time you search for a job by its address it will just cut off the whole application and shuts itself down. When we contacted GeoService directly for help they kept saying it was an issue with our devices which is ridiculous as the same error was occurring on every employee device - nearly 10 devices! Also if you contact their ‘help service’ it is from overseas there is no direct number - it’s all through messaging, so often you have to wait hours and sometimes days for a response for one question and then if you correspond immediately back you will often have to wait another few hours or days for the next response which is just poor management for an app that is meant to make running a business more efficient. Do not purchase their online system either. It doesn’t also doesn’t function properly for Australian businesses. You can’t manually add parts if you are linked to XERO and pricing is not calculated properly. You can’t automatically transfer CSV files for to it from suppliers as their system doesn’t support normal CSV format so you have to manually adjust codes and prices which takes hours and hours to input. If you are entering a ‘part’ It will tell you to add a price with tax but will then deduct the tax from the final price which didn’t reflect the true price so you then have to manually work our all your progress payments. It’s terrible. We should have listened to other Australian businesses who advised us to just use SIMpro.
