Description

There’s a lot you can do on GitHub that doesn’t require a complex development environment – like sharing feedback on a design discussion, or reviewing a few lines of code. GitHub for iOS lets you move work forward wherever you are. Stay in touch with your team, triage issues, and even merge, right from the app. We’re making these tasks easy for you to perform, no matter where you work, with a beautifully native experience.

You can use GitHub for iOS to:

• Browse your latest notifications
• Read, react, and reply to Issues and Pull Requests
• Review and merge Pull Requests
• Organize Issues with labels, assignees, projects, and more
• Browse your files and code
• Discover new and trending repositories

Can’t assign an issue to others

1. In an issue, when I go to assign a task to someone, I only myself. Other developers have already been added to the repository and accepted.
on the other hand, I can see and assign to an issue to others on your website. Once I assign on web and refresh the app it will appear on the app

2. The app's sync is extremely slow; the website is far superior.

Had to uninstall the app due to a bug in the website

For technical reasons I want to use my TOTP app for 2FA, not the Github app. So when logging into the website I selected the TOTP app 2FA method and checked “use this method in the future”. But over the next few days, the Github website kept defaulting to the Github app verification method, despite the fact that each and every time I was asking it to use TOTP in the future. The only way to make it stop was to uninstall the app. At the end of the day, the app is a nice to have, the website is something I need, so I had to sacrifice the app.
