Cool gladiator tycoon but needs a lil polish
Great game. Very entertaining to watch your battles.
I have just two gripes.
First, I pulled a custom gladiator when recruiting, but the game didn’t load so I lost them. A tad annoying.
Second is that the camera is awful. Please let us either choose a fighter to follow or let us control the camera during fights. One of the main draws of this game is watching your gladiators fight, but if you have a javelin thrower, it watches them and you miss out on the fight. Definitely annoying and needs attention.
Pay $100s to watch ads all day
After 9 days of gameplay I can officially give a reliable review on this game. I’ve played thousands of RPG games over the past 20 years, and Gladiator Arena: Idle tycoon, is in my opinion at the bottom of the barrel. All 160 colosseum stages are exactly the same and come with specific hurdles that will greatly slow progression and get you to spend more money on extremely unfair prices for what you get. On top of this, the level of ads ingrained into every single thing you do is extremely malicious from the developers and further, you can’t get rid of these ads regardless if you’ve already spent thousands of US dollars for some heros/equipment/gladiators, which will quickly become obsolete as you continue to progress the colosseum. Further, the game is very buggy and far from being thoroughly tested by the developers. It appears that the goal of this mobile game is to get the entire player-base to work full time each day by watching ads, and then spending hundreds of US dollars to see higher numerical numbers on the screen. Official rating is 0/10 and I would not recommend anybody play this.
Good game
Have been enjoying the game although now come into the App Store see a update sitting there after I’ve tried to get on the game and seeing as my hole game has reset from scratch I’ve put up with lot’s of glitches loosing stuff over and over again and now to see I’ve got to start from scratch again sort the issues out reported the continued can’t connect to server or network failed the get your device is logged in somewhere else
