Disappointed

Had high hopes for this app but the item list is lacking. Simple things like no sourdough bread listing, ricotta cheese and normal run of the mill vegetables. Should have looked into it better before purchasing.

determining the GI of each food involves conducting human trials to measure blood sugar responses after consuming specific amounts of carbohydrates from that food.

Therefore, it is understandable that the GI database may not include every single food item. While it is beneficial to consult the database for general guidance on the GI of various foods, it is important to remember that the GI can vary between individuals and may be influenced by factors such as food combinations, cooking methods, and individual metabolism.

Our database contains foods with verified information only. What you find on the internet for the foods you can't find in the app is a big question.

Very disappointing

The name implies a comprehensive glycemic index table which is what I was looking for, but the table in the app is very incomplete. It demands a lot of metrics which you have to find a way of measuring yourself before you can create any meaningful journal. I find it unusable and a complete waste of my money. Can I get a refund please?

What do you mean by that?

The app is free, in case you wish to upgrade to a PLUS version with more features you have the option to do so.

I assume if you have paid, then you decided to go for a PLUS and now have an extended version of the app with extra features. However, you could stay with a free version as well.
