Phone is good watch clunky
Have used many times on iPhone which works well but used a lot of battery.
When using Apple watch found that it would sometimes drop out and not accept input of strokes played. Also metres was wrong several times which made me think it was using the phone for distance which was sitting in the buggy rather than using the watch location ??
Some considerations that would be really nice?
You know that golf is played outside the 50 United States, don’t you? Well how’s about some of your avalanche of ads, promotions, sales and sweetener offers be available to the rest of the world?
On the app functioning. Displaying the registered hole distance would be really helpful. Yes, the important thing is distance to hole, but if you want to let a playing partner know how far he hit it you cannot because you aren’t tracking their shots, and if you forget (or can’t be inspired enough to take the time or, more to the point, the distraction) to track every one of your own during a competition round, when you get to your ball and look at the app, we’ll, you’re stuffed.
It’s not bad otherwise. Worth persevering with.

Having accurate distance readings means my club selection and performance is more consistent. The stats tracking is an excellent feature.
