Got Bakey is an Australian based online marketplace for cakes and other sweet baked goods. We’re a place where people can come together to make, sell, and buy the most delightful cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Buyers can view cake listings from their smartphone or laptop, and access SOS bakers for those uh-oh moments where a cake is needed fast. We’re also excited to offer people who love to bake an avenue to create a side hustle or better still, a bustling business.

Not for all bakers
I found it pretty much useless for my business unfortunately. I have a cake menu with specific design and specific pricing for each size. However, I don’t have an opportunity to list these specific sizes with set pricing.
Another thing, you can add only specific items as cakes or cupcakes, etc. But you can’t list any other treats like for example pops, chocolates, etc. Another thing, even though I tried to feature my menu as specific as possible I still get random inquiries for random cakes that I don’t offer. For example, someone asking for a red velvet cake which I don’t have on the menu. So it seems like it’s not very buyer friendly.
I really hope that it’ll be more flexible in the future but at the moment I can’t really use it.
Nice Idea but not very functional
I really like the idea of having an app like this but in the couple of months I have been using it there have been lots of bugs. I really was excited to have an app like this and really wanted to love it. But as a baker it is frustrating to submit an offer and then it disappearing and having to do it all again. Sometimes you can see someone else’s offer in your account instead of yours which is a bit concerning. The support has been fast in replying to my emails but they always say they’re investigating.
Today my open orders page crashes. There is something wrong every time I try to use this app.
