Grand Gin Rummy 2: Card Game 17+

Love the new format but could do with some minor changes.
- once you max out trophies, you shouldn’t be able to lose them.
- higher paying tables (16k and up) should have the max trophy amounts at least tripled
- card animation was much smoother on the original version
- all formats should be unique to their own trophies. Ie. if you get trophies in classic, they shouldn’t count to your Oklahoma trophies
- add a “win with gin only” mode
- add an endurance table (500 points for the win)
- additional random chest prizes for achieving long sequences

Other than that. Best gaming app in the store!

I really enjoy this game but i have to wonder sometimes when i collect a few chips suddenly i lose game after game with my opponents knocking after a couple of cards. I have just played over 20 games where i have hardly knocked once and lost all of them. Big gins after a few cards odds that are astronomical. I know you say the cards are random but i must be the unluckiest player in the universe!

However, I am sorry to hear you are not convinced of the fairness of our app. Please note, it is not in our interest to manipulate the deck as not only is this unethical, it would also be counterproductive as players would be very unlikely to want to continue playing our app, let alone make a purchase (which of course is the aim of our company). Also, as you always play another real player, any run of bad luck for you benefits your opponents and not us.

Seem ok till I realised that once you received your cards you can’t move them around only to throw one down ....when you pick up a card to make a set of 3 the game will not allowed you to move those cards if you change your mind to make a suit instead.
Sometimes your going for a suit till you pick a card and the game automatically makes it a 3-pair instead & locks it in but you know the 4th pair is already thrown out so you’re screw cause you can’t move cards & the game is sabotaging your play 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi Vera7589, thanks for your review. When we developed our game, we tested different versions of card sorting. The majority of players who tested our game preferred auto card sorting as it sped up the game, ensured that no melds were broken due to cards being placed separately or not accepted in a meld, and also ensured that the highest amount of deadwood was used to form melds.
We can appreciate that some players may wish to have more control over their cards, however, we are currently not planning to change this as allowing any kind of manual sorting comes with a very large amount of potential cases to consider and would cause more issues for players than it would solve due to cards being potentially not considered a meld or in case a player is rearranging their hand exactly as another player knocks. Please also note that it is possible during a game to stop melds being automatically locked by tapping on the settings icon and then the padlock icon.
