Gameplay:
The adventure starts at the bottom of Hirschalm, a sleepy ski resort in the midst of the alps. Strap on your skis or board and head down to the lift while picking up the basics like turning and jumping.

Take the lift up to Almhütte and try your first slalom challenge. Completing challenges earns you Ski Passes which are used to unlock ski lifts which takes you to new parts of the mountain.

As you advance up the mountain you have to tackle a variety of challenges like slalom, slopestyle, ski cross, and big air. Now perfect carving turns will not be enough but you also have to start practicing tricks, rails, and drops to complete the challenges.

And don’t forget to get off the slopes and head into the backcountry areas. Apart from deep powder and clean lines, you will discover hidden challenges and secret Ski Passes. But be careful - outside the groomed runs there are bears, wolves, avalanches, falling trees, and other hazards waiting for you!

Great game, obviously made by people with experience in the snow.

There are not many games that match the fun of exploring a mountain and recreating the snowboarding / skiing experience in real life like this game. I love the realistic lighting effects on the snow, zen mode, and that it remembers previous lines in the snow and the feeling of being able to explore the whole mountain. I found myself just exploring the mountain chilling out. Only thing I would like to see improved upon is the camera angles and perspective. At times I feel like I want to have the camera behind my man with the perspective looking down hill, (like 1080 Snowboarding on Nintendo), or to have the 3rd person camera position reversed so that downhill is going in the direction of up screen instead. Another thing that could be fun to do is including sub-games to get lift passes when you can go into some of the buildings. Board waxing, schnapps drinking challenge, finding an empty space on a ski rack, throwing snowballs from the chairlifts, etc.. It’s still one of the best snow games on the iOS platform though.

Thanks, we played a lot of 1080 in our youth. Regarding the camera we wanted it too feel less like a racing game, and more like an adventure game.

I love this game - but please point the camera the right way!

This is an amazing game. The motion, the way the snow moves, the feel our the different resorts - great! I’ve spent so much time skiing, and it captures it brilliantly.

BUT - PLEASE add an option to point the camera the right way! No racing game, or adventure game, or anything points it backward so you can’t see where you’re going.

I get you’re wanting to make it feel more like an adventure game, and not a racing - great! But there’s a ton of content that IS straight racing, and a bunch more that is nearly impossible because you have no idea where you’re going to time jumps and things.

By far my favourite game on the App Store!

I absolutely love this game and straight away purchased the full game (my first purchase on any mobile game) and it was completely worth it. I ski myself and it’s the closest mobile game to the real thing. I’ve been playing the game for a couple of years now and I’ve gotta say, the game is pretty much flawless. I don’t want to sound like everyone else who is complaining about the camera angle or anything, I actually really like it (the one pointing into the mountain/towards the character). But I think that if the other camera angle (the one pointing down the hill) was zoomed in a lot more into the back of the skier so that it was sort of like the camera angle in steep where you see the skier or snowboarder taking up a lot more of the screen would be cool. I know it’s hard to create different camera angles though, just a suggestion. Love the game.
