The app loses your notes if you enter them soon after creating a timer.

Harvest support says "This is a known issue that can happen if you edit your timer quickly after creating it. We're looking into how we can resolve it, but in the meantime, I recommend waiting a few moments before you edit a timer. That way, the sync with our servers can complete and you won't lose any data."

That was a year ago.

I’ve used Harvest for time management and invoicing for nearly 4 years and it’s been a blessing. It’s helped me understand how to be more productive with its time capture method and reporting tool, made collecting for billable time easier (smart intuitive features to push time to invoices) and has a Mac desktop widget and smartphone app that absolutely makes it super easy to use. I have loved using Harvest for time tracking and project management for a few years, but never more than now. I have recently set all invoicing from Harvest to come from an accounts email address, rather than from me personally — by integrating with Stripe, clients can pay the account directly and online, and I am finding that they are suddenly paying immediately.
