Hayu: Watch Reality TV 12+

Worth it

I'll be the first to admit that I've encountered most if not all the issues that other reviewers have mentioned. It's slow and laggy at times, the interface can be hard to make sense of, and finding your favourite shows takes time. However, as someone who cannot justify the price of pay TV, Hayu is a godsend. All of my favourite shows come up as they are aired weekly, when you're patient this app really does perform well, and the price make me feel like I'm robbing the developers blind. Don't get me wrong, I know that there are issues that need to be fixed. However it's a small price to pay for hundreds of shows I enjoy watching at my fingertips. I would encourage everyone to give it another go, and look past the small faults if you're looking for a more affordable alternative.

If I could make one small request, please make it available for me to stream on my Telstra Roku box! Or Hisense smart tvs. Thanks 🙂

Horrible for a paid app!!!!!!

SICK AND TIRED OF THE BUGS!!!!!!!
Since I have had the app which would be over a year by now, if not more...I have had problems. Every app has bugs from time to time but this is consistently riddled with bugs and glitches. Even free apps don’t have this many issues. I’m paying to use the service and I think it’s disgusting you can’t get it together. Don’t know how you can justify charging for your service with the poor app design and constant issues. Hire better developers who will fix these issues!!!! I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect something I’m paying for to perform!!!! I must make clear again that issues will happen and I expect that within reason, but not once in the time I’ve had the app have I encountered a session that didn’t have a problem one way or another after every episode I need to restart the app... some times multiple times during an episode (and hope when you reload it goes back to where you were up to because half the time it takes you back to the start to have to scroll back to where you were which sometimes makes it crash again). I can’t fathom how you can get it so wrong without improvement for so long??????? AND CONTINUE TO BE A PAID SERVICE. Very happy to continue being a paying subscriber as I love having access to the content but fix the app for goodness sakes!!! Is anyone working on this app???????

WORST APP EVER

I would give this app zero stars if I could and that would still be too be generous. The very worst streaming service I have ever had the displeasure of using. The UI and UX are terrible and that’s before the constant troubleshooting due to error after error. Logout, delete, reset, rinse and repeat. This happens on TV, laptop, iPhone, iPad. Every. Single. Device. Nothing is safe.

Stop directing everyone here to support when you know very well all of the problems that are being raised in these reviews have already gone to support time and time again before people come to leave reviews like this out of frustration. Listen to people and fix your app! At this point it would be easier to get a VPN and get a US streaming service with Bravo etc.

I would highly recommend firing all of your developers immediately and poaching some from literally any other streaming service to fix the performance of this app. Not to mention have live support in the form of chat or phone if your app doesn’t work for more than a couple hours at a time max. The fact that an app works this badly in this day and age is truly baffling to me. I can’t believe you have the audacity to actually charge people for a product so bad. If I hadn’t made the mistake of signing up for 6 months I would have canceled already and never used it again.
