You have complete control over the 3D models. Zoom, tilt, and rotate to study each part of the model at will.
ENVIRONMENTAL & STUDIO LIGHTING
Realistic environmental lighting based on HDR photos, recreate a sunrise, midday, or sunset illumination. Switch to Studio Lighting to create amazing lighting composition with multiple spotlights and different colors.
Change the lighting to be at any angle or intensity. Perfect to study the planes of the head and understand tones.
CUSTOMISABLE RENDERING
The edge outline highlights the planes for easier practice. Turn it off once comfortable and practice in a more realistic setting. Modify the shininess for a different material rendering.

Depth diluted’s must have!
If you have trouble forking out character appearances, especially when it comes to depth perception, bone structure, and overall feature alignments this is gonna be AMAZING for you! And It’s so fun playing around with the tools, you can make some pretty interesting characters out of the equipment you have. oh, and how you can adjust the lighting? ✨ *chef kiss* ✨ it’s a wonderful add on to learn how shadow and tone shapes the face and the individual’s mood. ✨😈🤪😰😡☺️✨
Kudos to the creator/creators of this app! 👏 It’s been very helpful for me and I can guess for many others as well, I don’t even have the paid version and I’m still thriving on the included. 😌👑
Amazing app for learning to draw portraits
Been teaching myself to draw portraits for a few months, and this app has been amazing. It’s not easy to learn to see these complex organic 3D forms in your mind, and this app really helps not only with understanding the side of the head that you see, but helps you imagine the side that you don’t so that you have a better mental model of the complete form.
This app has facilitated dozens of hours of practice already, and I reckon there’s hundreds more to come. 😅
Excellent resource
This is an excellent app with beautiful rendering and great functionality.
For what it offers I think the price is very fair and I’m happy to support the developer, and am excited to see any future updates.
It covers planes, the three popular methods (Loomis etc), and has incredible models of ancient busts, all with customisable lighting.
What more could you want? Get it and start drawing already!
