Hero Factory : Idle Tycoon 9+

Fun game

For an idle game this is very enjoyable & a new concept for idl. Several things I like about it:
1. The advertisements for it aren’t misleading
2. The intro is very easy to follow & introduces all aspects quickly, but with enough time to understand the various elements of it very easily.
3. You can earn gems super quick if you work on it regularly
4. It remains challenging for a while
5. Paying for ‘NO ADS’ actually means ‘no ads’ unlike approx 20% of idle games. This is really important to me. No subscription, which I think is in the dev’s best interest as no one wants the possibility of ongoing payments, but also so much better for the player. & No vouchers for a limited number of ‘no-ads’

It does begin to get boring after you’ve established your crew & you’re just grinding (maybe after 5-7 days pending how much you play). This is perhaps where there needs to be other game modes introduced, with prizes that help you press on in the original segment. The online ‘hero mode’ is limited to only several rounds so that takes all of 5mins. The ‘Raid’ mode is great but i think could be expanded, also limited daily.

Very nice game

It’s got a whole lot to offer, with aspects from so many successful games. It just needs more though. More in the training tab (more training options/maybe add artefacts) and it needs a bit more to do. Grinding is fun and all, but it’s a bit boring to just sit there and watch your heroes slowly get through the stages with nothing to do. I have a few ideas that would probably help this game become better. All in all, still a really good game. 😁

Slow Progress

This is a pretty good game that lets you play in and out of the day.
I’m only writing a review so I can provide feedback for the developers

1. Please have more ways to receive armour/weapon tokens. It’s very hard to improve any equipment. When you managed to get a 3-4 star from chests, there’s no incentive to waste 30+ tokens to improve a 1-star equipment.

2. There seems to be a bug where if I’m on a different screen when logging back in (i.e. Crystal or skill tab), I don’t receive any of the gold I was meant to while offline. It does get a bit annoying or disappointing at times.

3. The upgrades for the auto dropper-auto merger are kind of pointless given that the default time starts at 99 seconds, with upgrades going from 50gems to 100, and I’m guessing 150 afterwards. There’s no real incentive to upgrade these. Dropping that timer to 45 seconds or so might be a bit better if you want people to upgrade it
