Ratings and Reviews
A very well done little wargame on a fantasy theme
The game is easy to understand enough to be played very quickly without the need of a manual. However I took me a bit of time to understand the different unit strength and weakness to be able to plan properly each skirmish. I said skirmish because if the goal is to retrieve the piece of map of whereabouts the holly Grail is buried, you will need gold to buy unit or rent boat or siege weapon... Each dungeon, siege or field battle is a skirmish type like combat. Take your time to analyse which unit is the weakest and which need to be destroyed first. Explore the map, and do not hesitate to enter crypt. Some magic can also be used in combat, you will find it in form of scroll in various chest all around. Word of advice keep 150 gold on you to buy a siege weapon (yep only one at the time) or a boat to travel to another island as the battle field is compose of little island and pirate roaming water. The boat is 100 gold. This is a turn per turn exploration and combat game. Very pleasant and with a great look. My only regret would be to have a manual. Oh forgot, here is a wish for the developer of this game: I wish if like to not move a unit in combat to be able to do so.
A great remake of a classic game.
A lot like kings bounty that I used to play on the Amiga. It's a fine little game for killing time.
Cute and addictive
This game is like a scaled down epic. You can fight, collect and explore but you don't have to invest too much brain power or time to do so. It is fun and light, you can pick it up when bored or immerse yourself in a full-on gaming session. I'm a tough rater so for me to give 5 stars it would have to completely blow me away. While this game did not quite go that far, it is still worth having.
